As a Full Gospel Church in Butler, PA, we believe in everything that is in the Bible, and that the Word of God is timeless; meaning the things that happened in the Bible can and still happen today. Including but not limited to:
Sanctification as a Lifelong Process We believe that sanctification is both an instantaneous and a progressive work of God’s grace, beginning at salvation and continuing throughout the believer’s life. This process leads to spiritual growth, enabling believers to live a holy life, separated from sin and fully devoted to God.
The Gifts of The Holy Spirit As outlined in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10, these gifts—including wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, tongues, and interpretation—are given by the Holy Spirit to empower believers and build up the Church. They enable us to experience God’s power in practical ways, enrich our worship, and equip us for effective service, reflecting the active presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives and community.
The Church as the Body of Christ We affirm that the Church is the living body of Christ, composed of all true believers, with Jesus as the head. The Church exists to fulfill God’s mission on earth, including evangelism, discipleship, and serving as a light to the world through acts of love and service.
